What an incredible spot. We came here FOUR times on our weekend trip because we loved it so much. It’s great for a light breakfast, or fun cocktails and shareable dinner plates. The service is exceptional, the vibes are immaculate and the food is as close to perfect as it gets. Lots of little special details. Highly recommend the potato soup, the whipped espresso and the banana bread. All of the pastries are exceptional.

Delightful. (European-style) turkey club 8/10. Pistachio and Parmesan salad 10/10. Sparkling limeade 9/10. Expect a line and you won’t be disappointed. There’s an impressive number of table options (indoor/outdoor), including standing tables to accommodate regular rushes.

I absolutely loved this place when I visited Charleston this month. I tried the Peanut Mocha (hot) and it was so delicious. It wasn’t “too sweet”, it was made just right. The service was also great and fast, we didn’t have to wait too long for our drinks. Super cute spot that’s worth checking out if you are in the area.

The coffee here was amazing! I keep thinking about it, I am obsessed with the peanut mocha I got. I also had their breakfast burrito which was a good size. My friend also got their honey latte and it was perfectly sweet and made with local honey. Everyone was really sweet and helpful. It was busy so we sat by the window, but there’s free WiFi which is convenient. Overall loved it!

Babas is beyond a doubt the most authentic neighborhood cafe in Charleston. From their jammy eggs to their toasts, salads, and sandwiches...everything we've tried has been incredibly fresh with an emphasis on quality ingredients. It's a great place to stop in for a coffee and a snack or even a cocktail in the evening.

Delicious iced vanilla matcha! Lively, hip atmosphere, though it is very small inside with only a handful of close-together seats. I do wish I came hungry, the food looked very good.

Staff was top notch. Drinks were great. Espresso martini(s) was one of the many highlights of a friends bday party gathering today. Plenty of room for other guests. Brought Uno cards and literally lost track of time. One for the books. Shout out to Stu on yalls staff! Woo Stu!

Babas is one of those cute locations that you won't forget. The peanut latte and the salted banana bread will be those things you also won't forget! So delicious. So unique! I didn't get to try anything else from there, while visiting, but I'm glad I was able to try the 2 most popular!

First stop at Babas on Cannon and it definitely lived up to the hype. ☕️✨ I popped in on a busy Saturday morning for a quick iced vanilla matcha and was so impressed. The place was absolutely bumping, but the staff kept things moving quickly and efficiently. The iced vanilla matcha was fantastic — smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The space itself is small, moody, and cozy with low lighting that gives it such a cool Charleston feel. They also have sidewalk seating outside which makes it the perfect little spot to sit, sip, and people watch on Cannon Street. If you’re looking for a charming Charleston coffee stop with great drinks and an effortlessly cool atmosphere, Babas is definitely worth the visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Follow me on Instagram @holycityfitblonde for more great reviews on restaurants, hotels, boutiques, and much

I went to Babas on Cannon for breakfast with my boyfriend. We ordered a matcha, honey whipped espresso, and two potato tacos. All of that was a little over $20 after tax which I feel like is on the cheaper side when it comes to cafes, especially in Charleston. There was a line outside the door the entire time we were there and the food/drinks were really good. The seating was very limited, they have two table top areas with chairs and then two stand up tables. They do have some tables outside.
